JINDOKAI KARATE-DO SOCIAL CLUB INCORPORATED - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

After a period of inactivity since 2019, the Jindokai Karate-Do Social Club Incorporated will be holding an Annual General Meeting to reactivate the association and appoint a new Executive Committee.
Date: Sunday 14th June 2026
Time: 2:00pm
Venue: The Mawson Centre, 2-8 Main Street, Mawson Lakes SA 5095
The Social Club was originally established to support fundraising, social activities and member assistance programs for the benefit of Jindokai Karate-Do members and their families.
All members, parents, supporters and interested community members are encouraged to attend.

The future direction of the Social Club will be determined by its members. If you would like to contribute ideas, assist with fundraising, support club activities, or nominate for a committee position, we encourage you to attend.
Together, we can rebuild a strong Social Club that supports our members, families and the wider Jindokai community.

This event offers an opportunity for students from all branches to come together for training and assessment.

Question Time
Basic Skill Drills
Target Work – precision and timing
Kumite – Skills & Assessment criteria
Kata – at least 3 Kata
NORMAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA APPLIES:
All Participating Members MUST be able to demonstrate the following:
Completed the minimum number of Training Sessions
Competency in Kata; including knowledge of applications, and skilfully performed
Competency in Kumite; including an understanding of essential assessment criteria
Understands basic terminology, and concepts of traditional Karate training
Recommendations:
Stay and watch the group that follows your group - making sure that you write down anything that you are unsure about - helping you to be better prepared for your next test.
Attend, even if you are not participating - it is recommended that you attend, to watch, and prepare for your next test.
Bring a note-pad – write yourself notes – what went well? – what did not?
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Don’t be late: Participants will NOT be given entry, if arriving after your Test has commenced.
Passing is NOT guaranteed: Participants that do not achieve the required ‘pass-mark’, WILL NOT receive a new Rank.
NO PASS - No Refund: Attempting your test, but not passing, will cost you your entire fee.
ALL PAYMENTS TO BE MADE ON THE EVENT PLATFORM – NO PAYMENTS ACCEPTED, AT THE DOJO.
Community: In the same way that you occasionally seek assistance from others, it is important that you are present when others need Your help, too.
Grading Tests are not just about 'checking in' for your own event, then leaving when you're done;
we also support each other, encourage each other, and learn from each other.

City of Tea Tree Gully - Worldly Cafe - Japan

Team Jindokai - participation in the City of Tea Tree Gully's - Japanese Cultural Event
7:00pm - We will be looking for Demonstration Participants, to provide some examples of traditional Japanese karate training.
We will also be providing an Information Stand, where we can chat with members of the public, about our own experiences, in the Dojo.
This is a 2 hour event, we have been given the 'Peak Time' allocation - a great opportunity to promote our Modbury Heights club, and strengthen our relationship with the City of Tea Tree Gully. Please support the even, and help to strengthen the reputation of our wonderful Dojo.
